It Is Getting Hot

April 25th, 2012 Do you remember last summer? Me too. It was hotter than heck. As I check the weather on my iPhone I see the forecast for today and tomorrow here in Abilene calls for the high temperature to be 104. That is hot enough enough for the squirrels to be pouring Gatorade on their nuts! Trees will be fighting over dogs!! Farmers will be feeding their chickens ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs!!! Do you use Twitter? I can't function without it. My friends on twitter @texashsfootball remind me it is just 127 short days away from the start of the 2012 Texas High School Football Season. That is great news! Hundred degree days at the end of April not so. The heat is going up concerning coaching changes as well. If you are the man changing it is big where you have been and where you are going. One BIG one that might surprise people is John York leaving Follett to become HC at Water Valley. Congratulations to Coach JK Hester. He will be leading New Home.
