78 YEARS YOUNG

The sport known as Six-Man Football turned 78 years young this last week. Still going strong but no where is it stronger than TEXAS. 67 days we will start a new season. I am working to get a new directory for the coaches. Lots of changes again this year. I am never surprised when a head coach changes employment. The reason they change often does come as a surprise. The Six-Man coaching clinic will happen mid July in Lubbock. Always a sign that the new season approaches. I hope to be there on Wednesday morning July 18th for the registration process. Another sure sign we are getting close to a new season is being able to find the 2012 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine. I found mine last Thursday in Abilene at Hastings. I have since spotted them on the racks of the Wal-Mart Supercenter 1650 Hwy 351 in Abilene. Get your copy and get yourself all worked up for the upcoming season. Should be another great one.
